Stavo installando l’ennesimo mail server, quando decido di scaricare le nuove e fiammanti Courier Authentication Library 0.60.6.

Scarico, configuro, installo, apparentemente tutto ok, ma il server IMAP non ne vuol sapere di funzionare.

“authdaemond: libauthvchkpw.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”

Vado alla ricerca del file, possibile che non me lo abbia installato?

Su un vecchio server lo trovo nella directory predefinita, su questo nulla.

Ok, cerchiamo di capire…

> grep vchkpw *

Trovo Mr Sam che scrive

0.60.4
